Presented by the Officers' Wives' Club aboard MCAS Miramar
On Saturday, January 12, 2013, the MCAS Miramar OWC invites the San Diego Community to experience our second annual Flight Line Dash. This is a USATF sanctioned 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk with a 1K kids run, the "Aviator Scramble!" The event will take place along side the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Flight Line and around the beautiful hills of the open space and fish pond on base.
The purpose of this event is to raise funds to help provide funding for organizations and services within our military community. The military members and their families are an integral part of the community here in Southern California.
All proceeds will go directly to the following:
- Navy Marine Corps Relief Society (http://www.nmcrs.org)
- Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund(http://www.semperfifund.org) - MCAS Miramar Children's Library(http://www.mccsmiramar.com/childrens_library.html)
- MCAS Miramar Exceptional Family Member Program (http://www.mccsmiramar.com/exceptional_family_member.html)
We hope you will join our efforts in strengthening our community by joining us to run or walk aboard MCAS Miramar.
