Presented by the Officers' Wives' Club aboard MCAS Miramar
On Saturday, January 21, 2012, the MCAS Miramar OWC invites the San Diego Community to experience our first annual Flight Line Dash. This is a USATF sanctioned 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk with a 1K kids run, the "Aviator Scramble!" The event will take place along side the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Flight Line and around the beautiful hills of the open space and fish pond on base.
The purpose of this event is to raise funds to help provide educational scholarships to our military dependents. The military members and their families are an integral part of the community here in Southern California. All proceeds go directly to the OWC Education Scholarship fund. We hope you will join our efforts in strengthening our community by joining us to run or walk aboard MCAS Miramar.
